Bilar Man-Made Forest
Bohol, PhilippinesThe best way to enjoy your vacation is to see the natural creation by God. The Bohol Man-Made is a mahogany forest stretching in a 2km stretch of densely planted with Mahogany trees located on the border of Bilar and Loboc towns.
Before and after reaching the man-made forest, there are also naturally grown forests of Loboc and Bilar with a thick kaleidoscope of green foliage, different kinds of trees and giant ferns lining the road. You will immediately notice that you are inside the forest as soon as you read the road surrounded by beautiful trees.
This place is very peaceful, meditative, and you feel chilly, even during that hot summer season days. People called it the “dark-side” of Bohol because of how dark it is when you enter the place. It was such a quiet and dark place compare to an ordinary place. You can also feel the cold wind that will surely touch your skin. The place is so beautiful with the sunlight breaking through the canopy made by the forest itself and is exclusively made by nature.
